Wednesday ARRIVE IN EL SALVADOR

Arrive to El Salvador and transfer to your hotel. Optional afternoon city tour of the capital.

Thursday  SAN SALVADOR – VOLCANO CLIMBING

Morning departs to Los Chorros national park, with spring water swimming pools to admire the nature or perhaps a quick swim, the we continue to Cerro Verde national park where our volcano climbing adventure begins, (either Izalco or Santa Ana Volcano). Our accommodation today will be at beautiful Coatepeque Lake (B, D)

Friday   COATEPEQUE – RUTA DE LAS FLORES

Mid-morning We depart to city of Santa Ana, visit the charming city center and later visit the Ruins of Casa Blanca where you will experience the indigo process. Arrive at ATACO at sunset. (B)

Saturday  RUTA DE LAS FLORES

Enjoy the day at the mountains in El Salvador, You will visit a coffee process plant and taste a sampler of some of the different types of coffee produced here, also see the magnetic hill, the market at nahuizalco. Enjoy a taste of typical food at Acajutla. Transfer to your hotel at Los Cobanos beach. (B, D)

Sunday LOS COBANOS

Enjoy the day at this small village and if you wish, take a snorkeling tour to the largest reef in the Central America pacific Coast. Rest of the day is at leisure. (B)

Monday  LOS COBANOS –  JIQUILISCO After breakfast depart to the east of the country, on route enjoy the views from the cliffs , We will stop at Fisherman Warf where you can  of the  see the locals during the daily life, we continue to jiquilisco  Bay,  afternoon tour of the Cocoa plantation and the monkey reserve. Accommodation (B)

Tuesday LA UNION-TRANSFER BY BOAT TO NICARAGUA

Morning transfer La Union and after 2 hours on boat, arrival at Nicaragua, upon arrival, transfer to the town of Leon ( 2 hrs. driving). During the afternoon enjoy a panoramic city Tour. Accommodation at Leon. (B)

Wednesday LEON – GRANADA

Today you will visit a young volcano called CERRO NEGRO This isn’t something for the faint-hearted. You will have to hike up Cerro Negro, which will take you about an hour. Then the actual fun begins as you will slide or surf down the 728 meter high volcano in less than 3 minutes and the speed well it really depends on how fast you want to go! Later transfer to Granada. (B)

Thursday GRANADA

You  day begins with a  boat tour through Las isletas , 360 small islands, located in the lake of Nicaragua, also see the flora and fauna of this area. No visit to Granada is complete without a tour of the city´s historic center. Founded by the Spanish in 1524, Granada is one of the oldest colonial cities in the Americas; your guide will show you the most important monuments in this city.  Afternoon at leisure. (B)
