Day 1 – San José. Arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica. You are welcomed and transferred in private minibus to the hotel selected.

Day 2 – San José – Volcanoes. This morning visit Poas Volcano National Park, where you will enjoy magnificent views of the Central Valley and the volcano’s enormous crater, considered one of the largest in the world. Continue to La Paz Waterfall Gardens. This is the most visited privately owned ecological attraction in Costa Rica featuring the best hiking near San José, the most famous waterfalls in Costa Rica, rescued wildlife preserve with over 100 species of animals and an environmental education program. Day 3 – Arenal. After breakfast, a shared transfer (non-guided) will take you to the Arenal Volcano area. Around noon visit the Arenal Hanging Bridges, one of the greatest eco tourist projects of Costa Rica, with an exuberant primary rain forest where you will find a great biological diversity and incomparable scenic splendor. (B)

Day 4 – Peñas Blancas – Granada (Nicaragua – Costa Rica border) This morning, after breakfast private transfer with tour guide to Peñas Blancas border. After immigration, continue your travel in central america journey into  Nicaragua. On route you will visit San Juan del Sur, a charming beach town off the Pacific Ocean.,

Day 5 – Granada / Isletas. Breakfast at the hotel.

Start the day with a tour filled with nature and beautiful views around the Isletas, an archipelago formed by an ancient volcanic explosion, just off the shore of Lake Nicaragua. Then we’ll do a sightseeing tour of the historic sites of Granada. We’ll visit the museum at San Francisco Convent, with its vast exposition of pre-Columbian statutes and pottery. (B)

Day 6 – Granada – Mombacho – Masaya – Managua.  Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to Mombacho Volcano. We will drive from the savanna dry region, through coffee farms and into the cloud forest humid conditions. Arriving at the top, we’ll start a 2 Km walk along a path where we’ll discover an unusual collection of orchids, ferns, butterflies, birds, and, when the weather’s right, we will enjoy fantastic views of Granada and the surrounding countryside.    Latyers the Masaya Hand craft market and the Masaya national park. one of Nicaragua’s most interesting and beautiful natural phenomena..

Transfer to your hotel in Managua. (B)

Day 7 – Managua – Leon – Managua. Breakfast in the hotel. Early transfer to the colonial city of Leon. First we’ll visit the ruins of Leon Viejo, declared World Heritage by UNESCO. The city functioned as capital of the country on multiple times after the independence in 1821, alternating the title with Granada, until Managua was declared the only and permanent capital of Nicaragua. Transfer back to Managua during the afternoon.Cathedral is closed on Sundays. Ortiz Guardian Foundation and Ruben Dario Museum are closed on Mondays.

Day 8 – Managua – San Salvador

Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to San Salvador. On your travel in Central America, you will be met and escorted to your half-day city tour of San Salvador. There you will visit the residential areas, the devils gate, Balboa Park, Los Planes (scenic view), and the city center. You will also visit Boquerón National Park and the Anthropological Museum.

(Flight should be mid-day). Overnight at San Salvador (B).

Day 09 – The Flowers and Coffee Route. Today you will be traveling to the west of the country, This part of the country is known as the “The Flowers and coffee Route”, because during December coffee is blossoming and full of small flowers. You will visit the coffee process plant , the colorful town of Ataco  and Nahuizalco with its Handcraft Market. On route enjoy the amazing views of the Izalco Volcano, once called the “Lighthouse of the Pacific” because of the constant eruptions that ended on year 1958. Overnight at San Salvador (B)

Day 10 – San Salvador – Joya de Ceren – Santa Ana – Copan.  After breakfast, depart to Joya de Ceren Mayan site, this is a Mayan village that was covered by the ashes of a nearby volcano and discovered accidentally in the 70s. Continue to the ceremonial center and museum of San Andres. On route to Copan take a short visit at Santa Ana with its charming city downtown. Arrive at Copan during the afternoon. It is suggested that you visit the Museum by your own located in front of the Central Park   , which shows beautiful pieces found in the area. Overnight at Copan  (B)

Day 11 – Copan – Antigua Guatemala. In the morning you will visit the Copan ruins, Mayan Archeological Site, declared by UNESCO to be a World Heritage Site. The majority of Archaeologists agree that Copan formed part of the three largest and most lavish cultural centers of the new world. The Mayans developed a civilization based on a complex sociopolitical structure; at the same time they achieved, with amazing dexterity, in the fields of science, mathematics, and astronomy. By Midday transfer on the first-class bus to Guatemala City and minibus to Antigua. Overnight (B)

Day 12 – Antigua Guatemala Full day Tour. Antigua is a city in the central highlands of Guatemala famous for its well-preserved Spanish influenced Baroque architecture as well as a number of spectacular ruins of colonial churches. It has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight at Antigua (B)

Day 13 – Antigua.  Day at leisure to pursue your own activities. Overnight at Antigua (B)

Day 1 – San José. Arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica. You are welcomed and transferred in private minibus to the hotel selected.

Day 2 – San José – Volcanoes.
