DAY 1. Wednesday or Saturday

Guatemala City / Antigua Guatemala

Morning Reception at the International Airport La Aurora or bus station and transfer to the city of Antigua Guatemala. During the afternoon enjoy a walking tour in the colonial city. Accommodation.

Day 2. Thursday or Sunday

Antigua Guatemala- Chichicastenango -Panajachel

Breakfast. Transfer to the town of Chichicastenango. There you will visit the Church of St. Thomas on top of a Maya Pyramid  and the famous outdoor market where you will find crafts, pottery and textiles of the most varied shapes and colors.  During the afternoon you will visit one of most beautiful lakes in the world lake Atitlan. Then have a short visit to Panajachel a small and unique village on the lakes shore. Accommodation at Panajachel (B)

Day 3. Friday or Monday

Panajachel – Santiago Atitlan – Guatemala City.

Breakfast. Boat trip (public) to the town of the Tzutuhil people, famous for its handicrafts and colorful costumes. In the afternoon transfer to the Capital. Accommodation at Guatemala City (B)

Day 4. Saturday or Tuesday.    Guatemala City

Breakfast. Morning city tour of the capital, and transferred to La Aurora international airport or bus station, welcome and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation in San Salvador. (B)

DAY 5.  CITY TOUR AND VOLCANO

Our local guide will be happy to show you our capital city: San Salvador, its history, culture and people. We began visiting La Puerta del Diablo, where we have a breathtaking view of the Volcanoes of El Salvador, then visit el Zapote baraks, see the relief map and learn about El Salvador’s history. Then tour of the Historic Center of San Salvador, with its cathedral and Mausoleum of Monsignor Romero. Driving to the north you will see the most modern part of the city. Free time for lunch (not included).  During the afternoon, we visit Boquerón National Park, located at the top of the crater of San Salvador’s volcano where you can observe the beautiful flora. On return you will enjoy the beautiful views from the valley and the city.  (B)

DAY 6.  Your Choice

THE ROUTE OF FLOWERS AND COFFEE

On this tour you have the opportunity to visit typical villages of El Salvador. Izalco one of the oldest towns in the country with a very unique history Nahuizalco with its typical Indian market; Salcoatitan, an artistic town in the mid of a mountain. Ataco is a small and charming village, with many handcraft shops and cafe and cafes. You will also visit the coffee processing center. Return to San Salvador at sunset. (B)

ARCHAEOLOGICAL ROUTE

30 minutes away  from San Salvador, is the Archaeological Site Joya de Ceren, classified as world heritage by UNESCO, it is a Mayan village that was buried by the ash from the an eruption of a nearby volcano. Then visit the Archaeological Site of San Andres, with its pyramids and museum. Also Tazumal, the highest pyramid of El Salvador. Free time for lunch (not included). After you will visit the beautiful historic center of Santa Ana, and tour its historic center with its impressive Gothic cathedral and beautiful theater style. (B)

DAY 7: Transfer Out. Breakfast and transfer to the airport. (B)
